Romans 12:1–2, (KJV)
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Is your dream from God? That my friend is a tough question. Don’t we all desire for God to just come to us in a vision in a dream and say this is my plan for you, walk in it? There are some Christians who have experienced that. Unfortunately, it doesn’t happen that way for everyone. It hasn't happened like that for me. To see our God-sized dreams come to fruition, we must be willing to sacrifice time and money, and we must let God renew our minds. We can renew our minds through reading the Word of God and with prayer. We should be able to back our dreams and our desires by the Word. Verse 2 says to not be conformed to this world. The world will have you chasing popularity. If we are not prayerful with our dream, we could find ourselves going in circles, ending up where we started. We want God to accept our progress. We can find the perfect will as we seek him sincerely. Many days it may seem like nothing is happening, and God’s reality for you may look different from the dream you imagine. But my dear friends, God is always working on your behalf, and we must trust that His fulfillment is our best.
Prayer
God, help me stay on the path You already laid out for me. Thank You for preparing me for what You have prepared for me. Thank You for always working on my behalf even when I don’t see it. If I start to veer off the path You have ordained for me, nudge me, speak to my spirit. Remind me of my true purpose. I want You to be pleased with my actions. I want to stay true to the dream You have put in my heart. I don’t desire man’s approval or applause. I want to be in the center of Your will for my life. Guide my steps as I walk out my callings. Help me to never quit believing in the dream You placed in me. Amen.
